What Children Leave With

Not just riding skills.

But:

• A stronger sense of self
• A meaningful memory
• A deeper relationship with nature
• A new understanding of what they are capable of

And often… a quiet pride in their eyes.

What Horse Families Say

“We’ve tried several summer camps before, but this one feels different. My son told me he felt truly listened to. And as a parent, that makes all the difference.” Ian

“Every evening, my daughter went to bed with stars in her eyes, knowing she would return to Horse Camp the next day.” Sebastian

“I had never seen my daughter integrate into a group so naturally. What I found beautiful was the mix of ages. The younger children are inspired by the older ones, and the older children naturally step into responsibility. There’s a real sense of harmony. You can feel that everything is designed so each child finds their place.” Mel

Everything is so well organised. You can tell it’s all been thought through for us. It’s just amazing.” Nacho

What to expect

1. A Safe and Natural Setting

A welcoming & open environment where everyone can feel relaxed and accepted.
The horses act as mediators of calm, presence, and connection.

Children spend hours outdoors. They walk, collect, build, create. They reconnect with imagination — without screens.

2. Semi-Guided Group Activities

Each experience is gently guided, combining structure and freedom so everyone feels included. Every child is seen, supported and encouraged at their own rhythm.
We might walk, brush, guide, or observe the horses — sometimes in silence, sometimes in laughter.
Every activity supports cooperation, curiosity, self-regulation AND CHOICE.

3. Personalised Feedback

At the end of each camp, families receive a short personalised report with observations and suggestions to continue supporting confidence and emotional regulation at home.

Horse Emotion in my boots 5 UK

Bonjour, bonjour!

I’m Antonia Eraud, an equine therapist dedicated to helping children grow through meaningful experiences with horses.

I believe horses offer children something rare and powerful: a space to build confidence without pressure, to regulate emotions without being judged, and to discover their  inner strength through real-life interaction.

With a background in psychology, coaching, and animal welfare, I create small-group horse camps where children can explore, move, create and connect — always in a safe, respectful and structured environment.

These are not just riding camps. They are immersive experiences where children learn responsibility, empathy, cooperation and self-trust — guided by the honest presence of horses.

Each camp is designed to support emotional growth, autonomy and joy.

My goal is simple: that every child leaves feeling stronger, calmer and more confident than when they arrived.

Welcome to Horse Emotion — where horses help children become themselves.

Why this matters

Children today are constantly stimulated — screens, noise, performance, expectations.

Horses offer something radically different.

They respond to presence, not perfection.
To calm energy, not noise.
To authenticity, not performance.

In this environment, children naturally:

Develop confidence through real experiences
• Improve emotional regulation
• Strengthen social skills and cooperation
Learn responsibility in a living ecosystem
• Experience calm through contact with animals

This isn’t about pushing limits. It’s about expanding safely.

FAQ

Q: Does my child need previous horse experience?

A: Not at all.
Most children join with little or no experience around horses.
All activities are guided step by step, and safety is always the priority.
We focus on building confidence progressively — both on the ground and, when appropriate, in riding activities.

Q: What ages are the camps suitable for?

A: Camps are open to children from 3 years old.
Groups are mixed-age by intention: younger children are inspired by older ones, and older children naturally grow into leadership and responsibility roles.

This dynamic creates a beautiful sense of harmony and cooperation.

Q: How many children are in each camp?

A: Maximum 10 children.
Small groups allow me to give individual attention, adapt activities, and ensure both emotional and physical safety.

Q: Is this a riding camp?

A: Riding is part of the experience — but it’s not the only focus.

Children will also:
• Learn groundwork and horse care
• Observe herd dynamics
• Explore nature through Land Art and creative activities
• Practice emotional regulation through body-based exercises
• Build responsibility within a living ecosystem

This is a holistic horse experience — not just riding lessons.

Q: Are neurodivergent children welcome?

A: Yes, depending on each child’s specific needs.
I adapt the camp environment through structure, rhythm and clear expectations.

After initial contact, you’ll receive a short intake form so I can understand your child’s sensitivities, strengths and needs.

The presence of horses often supports regulation, confidence and emotional stability.

Q: What should my child bring?

A:
• Comfortable clothes that can get dusty
• Closed shoes (no sandals)
• A hat and sunscreen in summer
• A water bottle

All materials and safety equipment are provided.

Q: What if my child feels nervous around horses?

A: That’s completely normal.
We never force contact. Children are encouraged to approach at their own pace.

Often, confidence builds naturally through observation and gentle interaction.

Q: What happens in case of bad weather?

A: In case of heavy or unsafe weather conditions, sessions may be adapted or rescheduled.
If extreme weather makes the camp impossible, alternative solutions will be offered.

And if you would like your own Horse Camp… some very special experiences are  available on request 🙂

Mel

“We came back home absolutely delighted — and we’re so grateful for everything you did for Marc. He was so lucky, the only one who got to ride a horse!”

Xavi

“Very calming and insightful experience which helps you understand the importance of non verbal communication. Antonia gives you feedback on how you delivered the task and it’s insightful to hear how each person is so different in their approach. My 7 year old girl rated it as a top experience”

Steve

“Magical experience to be so close to these impressive animals, and to be accepted by them. I’ve never had close encounters with horses before and was amazed how gentle they were, and how connected we would feel with them. I learned so much about horses, but also about myself and my parenting style. It was an emotional, fun, and unique experience. My 7 year old had so much fun and showed such confidence around these majestic creatures, an unforgettable experience.”
