The invisible pressure can be exhausting.
The pressure to do things right.
To meet the expectations of our culture.
To follow the “normal” path of learning, success and progress.
As parents, we worry when our child does not fit the usual standards.
As riders, we compare ourselves to others and focus on what we did wrong.
As adults, we often feel that we should already be further ahead, more confident, more certain.
So we look for answers.
Advice. Strategies. Solutions. Sometimes what we need is not another explanation — but a different kind of experience.
Horses have a unique way of bringing dignity to everyone into the open — not through words, but through their presence, their behaviour and the relationship they create with us.
A child who struggles to follow the usual learning paths suddenly finds calm and rhythm next to the horse.
With horses, something shifts.
The comparison fades. The expectations soften. Each person can reconnect with their own rhythm.
Through my sessions, I create a space where humans and horses can experience these moments and discover a different way forward.
Each session is personalized, with clear intentions and visible progress, so that what is experienced with the horse can become anchored in everyday life.
Ways we can work together
Over the years, I have developed an approach that brings together equestrian culture, psychology, mental coaching and intuitive listening.
People come for different reasons — for a child, for themselves as riders or horse owners, or sometimes as a family.
Yet the intention is often the same:
to find clarity, to build confidence and to reconnect with what truly matters.
Through the presence of the horse, new perspectives appear. And from there, we can begin to move forward differently.
For Children & Horses
A gentle and safe therapeutic space—in rhythm with the horse.
This is a path toward riding, specially designed for children experiencing tension, disconnection, a diagnosis, or simply the struggle to find their place.
Here, we focus on connection before action, relationship before words, trust before technique, and always—the right to go at a walk.
– For neurodivergent children (autism, ADHD, dyspraxia…) who love animals
– For families looking for an enriching experience for their child
– For those who don’t fit into the typical mold of the equestrian world
For Young Riders
Mental coaching and intuitive work around the relationship with the horse.
For young riders navigating pressure, confidence, competition or emotional challenges.
These sessions usually take place online, allowing us to work wherever the rider and horse are based.
For Adults
Coaching for adults who want to explore the relationship with horses more deeply.
For adults who wish to explore their relationship with horses more deeply.
This work can take different forms:
• Equicoaching in person with horses, exploring behaviour, emotions and relational dynamics through direct interaction with the horse.
• Online sessions, combining mental coaching and animal communication to offer a new perspective on the horse–human relationship.
This work is for:
• people who feel a strong connection with horses and want to deepen it
• riders looking for a different way to progress
• horse owners who wish to better understand what their horse may be experiencing & adjust to it
My approach
My holistic work with horses is built on the meeting of several worlds that are often kept separate.
Equestrian culture and sport.
Psychology and mental coaching.
Emotional Intelligence & Animal Welfare.
Intuition.
Over the years, I have developed an approach that brings these dimensions together.
Horses have a remarkable ability to reveal what is happening beneath the surface. They respond to what is real — not to what we say, but to what we carry.
My role is to accompany this process with clarity, structure and care. In practice, this means working both with the human and with the horse.Listening to the relationship that exists between them.
And helping what emerges in that relationship become something constructive.
My background combines academic study, equestrian experience and continuous training.
The goal is not only to create insight during the session, but to anchor that insight into everyday life — in the family, in the stable, and in the relationship with the horse.

Bonjour, bonjour
My name is Antonia Eraud, and I work at the crossroads of equine-assisted therapy, coaching with horses, mental preparation for riders and animal communication.
I accompany children, families and horse owners who feel that horses can be more than a sport — that they can become partners in personal growth, emotional balance and deeper understanding.
My background combines both academic rigor and intuitive listening. I studied at Oxford University and completed several master’s degrees in fields such as business, publishing, animal law and mental coaching. I am also trained in NLP, mental performance coaching and yoga.
Alongside this academic path, horses have always been at the center of my life. I live and work with them every day — they are not only my partners, but also members of my family (I currently have four horses at home).
Through Horse Emotion, I created a space where humans and horses can meet differently — a place where children, families and riders can slow down, find clarity and grow.
Many people who come here feel that they have already tried many approaches. Here, we explore another path — one that combines the wisdom of horses, practical tools, and a deep respect for each individual’s rhythm.
Testimonials
“It’s so comforting to have you in our tribe, Antonia! You understand Emi just as she is, and you guide her so gently. (…) I believe equine therapy—especially the way you offer it—has helped Emi deepen her reasoning and self-awareness, which has had a wonderfully positive impact on our homeschooling too.”
— Mel, Barcelona
“Every week, my daughter writes her session with Antonia in her planner. She looks forward to it like a breath of fresh air—a moment just for her—especially after long, exhausting school weeks that are so tough for a little girl with dyslexia. With Antonia, it’s different. She’s in nature, with the horses, recharging deeply while working on communication, self-confidence, and social skills. Thank you, Antonia, for the energy you share, the subtlety of your approach, and your kindness.”
— Esther, London
“We never imagined this could be so positive for Marc—and for us, too. We’ve started applying your advice in our daily life. Our son is calmer, and he’s changing in front of us.”
— Xavi, Barcelona
“Working on her posture, revising it, and then presenting it in front of a large audience really boosted her confidence. I know she was very proud of what she accomplished.”
— Courtney, Barcelona
“For her father and me, it’s pure joy to see our daughter arrive at her session with such enthusiasm—and to see how satisfied she feels with each new step she takes.”
— Pilar, Barcelona
Next Steps
1️⃣ Let’s start with a conversation
We begin with a first exchange to understand your situation, your goals and what brings you here — whether it concerns your child, your family or your relationship with your horse.
2️⃣ Book your session
This session will allow me to observe, listen and understand what may support you best.
3️⃣ Receive your personalized feedback
After the session, you receive a clear summary with my observations, insights and suggestions to continue the work.
4️⃣ Create lasting change
In my experience, real progress happens when the insights, recommendations and practical tools from the sessions are applied consistently. This is how calm, confidence and meaningful change begin to take root — both with the horse and in daily life.
What my work is not
- This is not a riding lesson, and it is not about teaching technical equestrian skills.
- It is not a therapy where the horse simply offers comfort while remaining passive.
- And it is not coaching without reflection or concrete follow-through.
- In my work, the horse is an active partner. His behaviour, reactions and presence become part of the exploration.
- What emerges during the session is then translated into clear insights and practical steps that can support real change.
