Horse Guidance

What if the questions you have about your horse were also part of a deeper conversation between you?

Through animal communication & personal coaching, my sessions can bring clarity to your bond with your horse, why he came into your life and what is unfolding within the relationship. You will be exploring your very special human-horse relationship as a mirror

Sometimes the relationship with your horse becomes full of questions…

Why does he react this way? What is happening between us? What might this be revealing about me?

You observe, you doubt, you search for answers. You want to do the right thing… but sometimes you don’t know how.

Yet the relationship itself can become a place of understanding.

What if, instead of trying to figure everything out alone, you could open a space of listening within the relationship with your horse?

A space where both of you can be heard — and where something new can begin to emerge.

In many ways, these sessions resemble a form of relationship therapy — between a human and a horse.

By listening to your horse and exploring the dynamics of the partnership, we begin to understand what may be happening beneath the surface. A mirror of emotions, expectations, tensions or unspoken dynamics within the partnership.

More clarity appears. More understanding emerges. And, your horse and yourself begin to move forward differently and the relationship can evolve.

What you can expect

For many owners, this creates a powerful moment of clarity. This process can help you:

understand behaviours or reactions that previously felt confusing
• see more clearly what your horse may be responding to in the relationship
gain new insight into your own emotions, doubts or pressures
make decisions that feel more aligned for both you and your horse
restore confidence, trust and balance in the partnership

Very often, understanding your horse also helps you understand yourself — and allows the relationship to evolve in a more peaceful and conscious way.

Do you recognize yourself in one of these situations?

Here are some typical profiles of owners and horses I often work with.

The Competition Duo

You compete in an equestrian discipline and your relationship is at the heart of your performance.

You want to understand what your horse experiences in those moments, but also what might be happening within you.

Sometimes what the horse expresses reflects the emotional balance of the partnership.

I can help reveal what supports both of you — bringing clarity, trust and a deeper sense of alignment before stepping into the arena.

1001 questions

You are a dedicated owner, often worried, wanting the best living conditions for your horse.

You observe everything, question your choices.

I can bring a different perspective on what your horse experiences and what may be happening within the relationship.

It often brings reassurance, clarity and sometimes unexpected insights about yourself as an owner.

Hello Mama Ouch

Health issue, pain, treatment, recovery…

When a horse is injured, in pain or going through treatment, emotions can run high.

You care deeply and often feel responsible for every decision that must be made.

In these moments, it can be difficult to distinguish between intuition, worry and pressure.

I can help understand how your horse experiences the situation and bring clarity to the choices ahead.

It often helps owners reconnect with trust — both in their horse and in what’s going on at a deeper level.

The End of a Chapter

Changing stables – Stopping work -Separation – End of life

These moments require presence, listening and care. You may also want to transmit an important message to your horse.

Sometimes there are things you wish you could say to your horse — or understand before moving forward.

I create a space of listening during these transitions.

A space where emotions can be acknowledged, messages shared, and the relationship honored with presence, respect and peace.

What makes my approach unique

A double listening: horse and human

My work stands at the crossroads of animal communication, equine therapy, mental coaching and personal development.

A practical and grounded approach

The session is not only about receiving a message from the horse.
It also sheds light on the dynamics of your relationship and can help you make concrete decisions.

An approach rooted in my daily life with horses

I am a rider and horses are part of my life every single day.
I live with them and work with them constantly.

The animal communication I offer is deeply grounded in this real and daily relationship with horses.

An exchange in 3 steps

1. Preparation & conversation

(20 minutes)

  • We take time to talk together.
  • I help you clarify the questions you want to ask and explore the theme you wish to address.

2. Listening to the horse

(20–30 minutes)

  • Intuitive connection to your horse’s inner world.
  • Exploring what he experiences in his relationship with you and his environment.
  • I ask the specific questions we prepared together.

3. Sharing and integration

(20 minutes)

  • I share what emerged: feelings, messages, images and emotions.
  • I put the information into perspective together.
  • The session often helps to clarify a situation, make a decision more peacefully, or approach the relationship differently.

Bonjour, bonjour !

My name is Antonia Eraud. I’m a rider, equine therapist, horse-assisted coach, mental performance coach and animal communicator. As you can probably tell, horses are a big part of my life! I currently have four horses at home, I work both from my property and in an equestrian center, and I’ve written three books — two about horses and one about dogs and cats.

My background is both academic and intuitive. I completed five master’s degrees in different fields (business, publishing, animal law and mental coaching) and studied in particular at Oxford University.

Alongside this academic path, my work with horses and my training as a yoga teacher have led me to develop a deeper and more intuitive way of listening to their behaviour and emotional world.

I trained in animal communication with Cécile Guillaume, an experienced animal communicator, equicoach and founder of a training program dedicated to equine professionals.

Today, I use animal communication daily with my own horses and integrate it into my work to help owners better understand their horses and bring clarity to certain situations within the relationship.

My approach lies at the intersection of practical experience, deep work with horses and intuitive listening.

What if the relationship with your horse needs to go further?

Sometimes horse guidance sessions immediately brings clarity and the relationship rebalances naturally.

But sometimes the session reveals something deeper within the relationship:

A fear – A tension – A lack of confidence
An invisible pressure the horse feels

In those cases, I can support w/ further sessions combining animal communication and life coaching.

Testimonies

“Antonia helped me reconnect with a horse I had an incredibly deep bond with who passed away. I had always carried this feeling that I never really got to say goodbye, and there were things left unresolved.
During the session she shared very specific things about my horse and our relationship that were extremely personal and accurate — things she simply couldn’t have known. It honestly surprised me how precise some of the details were.
That experience helped me process a lot of emotions I had been holding for a long time. I finally felt a sense of peace and closure that I didn’t have before. I’m really grateful to Antonia for that.”

Martina

“Thank you so much — the session was incredibly interesting and very insightful.

I also really understood what you said about the dressage work. When I ride in lessons with my trainer, we tend to take fewer breaks than when I ride him on my own, so I’ll try to discuss that with my coach and allow him more moments to relax.

What impressed me the most was how much I recognized my horse in what you shared. Your words really reflected his personality and our relationship.

The session gave me a lot of clarity. Thank you again!”

Aglaé

“Antonia also helped me recently with my horse who had just moved to a different country. I had to leave for two weeks and he stayed alone in a completely new place, which made me quite worried — especially because his legs started to swell.
She connected with him to understand what was going on, and the crazy part was that she mentioned several things about his past and personality that I had never told her, yet they were completely true.
What helped me the most was understanding how he was actually feeling. She explained that even though the situation was new for him, he wasn’t in a bad mental state and he could handle it. That immediately calmed me down.
It really helped me understand him better and gave me a lot of peace of mind.”

FAQ

What kinds of questions do people usually bring?

Most owners come with very concrete questions about their horse.

For example:

• Why does my horse react this way when I do that?
• Is he comfortable in his current environment?
• Why do we feel blocked in our training?

Very often, these questions lead us to explore something deeper within the relationship itself.

Horses can reveal aspects of the human-horse relationship that we may feel intuitively but have difficulty naming.

Do I need to be with my horse during the session?

No. The session can be done remotely. All I need is a recent photo of your horse and a conversation beforehand to clarify your questions and intentions.

What if the session does not resonate for me?

My commitment is to share honestly what I perceive. If after the first session you feel that nothing resonates for you at all, I will simply refund the session.

Does animal communication replace veterinary or professional advice?

No. Horse guidance never replaces veterinary care. It is an additional perspective that can very often help owners understand the emotional or relational dimension of a situation.
